Grace Covenent Ministry – 2021 in Review
Grace Covenant Ministries – Tommy Miracle
Our goal each year is to impact our community with the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. Our role is to facilitate and arrange projects for each partnering organization. We come alongside each group with needed skills to ensure each project gets done to the best benefit of those receiving the work.
Blessings of 2021
We were able to complete a community fitness center with the help of our partners this year. It has been a dream of ours to provide this much needed facility for several years. With the financial help of our supporters and their voluntary time, we were able to complete it and open at the close of this past year.
Challenges of 2021
COVID-19 continues to be a burden not only to us, but around the world. Due to COVID-19, the availability of our partners’ participation was greatly diminished. Without hands and feet on the ground, several of our projects couldn’t be completed.
Hopes for 2022
We are certainly looking forward to things returning to normal, if that is possible. Our summer schedule is already booked to almost capacity. We have several much-needed projects that will be addressed this year. Our goal is to share Christ’s love with all.
How We Can Pray
We would ask that you continue to pray for us in the areas of guidance and stewardship.
Additional Needs
Money is always needed to take on the projects we do each year but, ultimately, we desire to help others see the glory of our Lord.
Thank you
Even with so many complications and barriers, our work has plodded on. The faithfulness of our supporters has been nothing short of a miracle. The families that have received our help have been very blessed with each gift they’ve received.

Grace Covenant Ministries – Tornado Update
To our Prayer Warriors,
We have been getting inquiries about whether we were affected by the recent tornadoes in Kentucky. We thank you for your concerns. The worst part of the storms was about 150 miles from us. Some of our staff and board members had relatives who lost their homes and a few suffer some injuries. We join you in praying for those affected and will look for ways to join in the relief efforts.

Dear Prayer Warrior,
Attached pdf copy of this month’s “Prayer Warrior”. As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we have many reasons to give thanks. Your prayers and financial support are treasured blessings. Happy Thanksgiving!
“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (Philippians 1: 3-6 NLT)

Dear Prayer Warrior,
Attached to this email is a pdf copy of our yearly mailing of the “Echoes From The Hills”. In addition to the special project gifts listed in the “Echoes”, in the past month we received two trailer loads of items for our trade stores from churches in northern Illinois. We are so thankful for all of our partners who contribute to our thrift store ministry. To all of our supporters we thank God for the blessings we receive from Him through you.

Dear Prayer Warriors,
“Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.” These words from the hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”, provide us hope and comfort as the seasons change,Our summer camp sessions have ended, and the pool is closed for the year. The Academy on campus has welcomed students back to school. Our fall baseball season is off to a great start. The number of campers was up significantly over previous years for which we are thankful. Yes, God is faithful!
Our happiness is tinged with concern as Covid is reappearing in our community. Thankfully, at the present time, deaths due to the virus have been few in our area. The local public school has delayed the starting date for classes. The area Veterans Health Fair (scheduled for September), hosted by our Veterans Outreach program, has been canceled for the second year in a row. Scheduling into the future is complicated by the ever-changing guidelines being published. Your prayers are coveted as our staff strives to be faithful to God’s calling. We are reminded of the fact that none of us knows what tomorrow will bring. But we do know who holds our future.
Your faithful support is helping us to make a difference in our community. Please pray that our ears and hearts will be open to the opportunities to share the love of our Savior to those we have been called to serve here in Appalachia. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. May we continue to rejoice in knowledge of God’s faithfulness.
