Title: Love Unto Life

Reference: Romans 13:1-10

Theme: True pro-life ministry is every bit a labor of love.

  1. The dynamic, active _________________ of Christ’s Love
    1. It can’t simply stand by, passive, while others are being hurt, it responds
    2. It’s most gloriously fleshed out in God’s sending His Son for us.
  2. Some ways this love ________________  life’s sanctity
    1. Some fields in which this love labors; to which this love calls for believers to employ our resources, prayers, skills, and abilities.
    2. Incentivization, empowering the tempted to do what’s right before God.

Questions for Study:

  • How does God’s Law, His 10 Commandments, show us how to love Him and love our neighbor as ourselves?
  • Why must we have new life in Christ in order to live out this love?
  • What major motivations tempt a woman to abort her unborn child?  Tempts others to suicide?  Still others to euthanize a person deemed not to have “good quality of life”?
  • What formerly was rightly called “murder” is now called “a solution to your problem”.  With professional abortionists/abortion “industry”, it’s really “murder for hire”.  How does the philosophy and practice of those who view death as a solution to life’s problems poison a culture?  How does it rob a culture of the richness in persons and abilities that God intended?
  • How blessed How blessed are those who know the Lord!  How blessed those who can tell others who’ve done things that can’t be undone that if they’ll repent and trust in Christ they will find, as we have, that God’s grace is greater than all our sins.  Romans 5:20
