    • walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you’ve been called,
    • come…let us walk in the light of the Lord,
    • …you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do…
  • What are some elements of literal, physical walking that help unpack some of the meaning contained in the metaphor of walking?
  • The Apostle John writes as the Lord’s ambassador and representative. How does that fact bear on the joy & pleasure John has in his letter recipient’s obedience? What encouragement can that give when applied to us if we’re walking in the Truth?
  • What seemed to be one of Gaius’ spiritual gifts? Why was it so helpful to the missionaries? Why was it so helpful to the Gospel & cause of Christ? What does Gaius’ example & the Lord’s pleasure in it suggest to us?
