Questions for Study:

  • Why did Paul take joy when preachers jealous of him proclaimed Christ—though from wrong motives? Does God use Gospel presentations given from unholy motives? Is there any mention of motive in Romans 1:16?
  • How does a Gospel or evangelism centered mindset affect one’s view on life’s challenges?
  • Can you share a bad experience you’ve had that turned out to benefit the Lord’s work in others and in you?
  • How does a Gospel focus help a congregation go through a change of pastors/leadership?
