A Call To Action From Anna
This winter has been especially busy for Open Door Mission with our shelter sleeping over capacity since the Fall and we need your help! We are actively recruiting both employees and volunteers. Please consider taking time during your next church service to show this video of our CEO, Anna Valeria-Iseman at our YouTube channel. If you would prefer a higher resolution version of our video or if you would like to schedule a time for us to visit your congregation in person, please reach out to Chirs Scribani at cscribani@opendoormission.com.
Thank you for your consideration!

What To Pray For
1. Pray for the salvation and restoration of all those we serve with emergency shelter, food, clothes, addiction recovery, transitional housing, life skills and job readiness programs.
2. Pray for peace and health to all of our staff and their families.
3. Pray for the families that just came into the Coldwater House and for those who recently moved out into their own permanent housing.
4. Pray for continued success for the men who recently graduated from our addiction recovery program and for those just entering the program.
5. Pray for the Mission’s permanent supportive housing apartment residents.
6. Pray for the necessary resources to maintain our daily expenses.

Casa de Refugio Ground Breaking Event (Nov. 19)

There will be a worship service Saturday, November 19, 2:00 P.M. at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church.  Our own Fred Coisman will bring the message. Mike Davis will also be present.  After a time of worship there, people will be invited to gather for a brief (15-20 minute) ground breaking event at the site for the new church, then return to the CSUM Church for fellowship and refreshments.  The distance between the church and the building site is only four or five blocks. All are invited to attend this special and long awaited occasion.
