Grace Covenant Ministries, November 2017

Greetings,

We hope you will have a blessed Thanksgiving. You are included as one of the blessings for which we thank God.

Attached is this year’s edition of the “Echoes from the Hills”. Many of you will be receiving this soon in your postal mail boxes. If you cannot open the pdf attachment, let me know and I will send you a copy in another format or thru the postal system.

A couple of additional items:

Please remember Tommy Miracle (our Director of Campus Operations) and his family in your prayers. His mother, Eva Miracle, passed away on November 13.

Last month we stated that we were seeking an additional $5,000.00 in funds to cover some unbudgeted expenses (such as having to replace fire alarm systems. A supporter has come forward with a challenge stating that they would match any new or additional gifts we receive before Dec. 31 up to $2,500.00. We have received a couple of “additional” gifts already. If you can help us it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing this Prayer Warrior with others. If you know of someone who would like to receive this email please let us know. If you want to be removed from our mailing list please contact us.

Ethnos360 Bible Institute, August 2017

Many new beginnings!

Ethnos360 Bible Institute Sign

Today is OPENING DAY for the new Bible School year! (and we have a new name: Ethnos360 Bible Institute.) Many Freshman just arrived and the excitement is high for what God has planned to teach all of us in this new year!

Today is Reece’s first day at his first full-time job! He drove off this morning to work for a year at a furniture store where he will be delivering and assembling. His plan is to save enough to be a student here at Bible school by next year! We are excited for all God has planned to grow him in this year!

This week Dave will begin his 9th year of full-time teaching God’s Word. What a privilege! He will also be commuting one day a week to seminary to take a class.

This week starts my change of ministry. For 8 years I worked in the school’s mail room, but now I will begin serving one day a week in child care and also front desk receptionist. I’m glad to work with the student’s babies and little ones so that the mom’s can be full-time students.

Another new happening is that Clark will start high school (homeschooling with me) in about 2 weeks. Reece enjoys happily reminding him that he has 4 more years of school;)

God is GOOD and His plans of growth for us are good. On to a new year!
Dave, Kim, Reece & Clark Field

Just as a reminder 🙂

Bible League, August 2017

“We know God sent us this Project Philip Bible study after so many years of praying because now we can understand God’s Word and how to help others see the Gospel,” a believer from the Mieng tribal people living in northern Vietnam offers. “After so many years without God’s Word, thanks to you we have this gift.” Most are farmers in the Nguyan Province, about 100km north of Hanoi, and others live in rugged mountainous areas beyond roads, “but today there is a church of Mieng believers and God has blessed us because we can now understand the Bible.” This is how God’s Word is transforming lives today—because of your help, lives are being transformed. Bible League, September 2017

To get to the remote church in Mtendere, Zambia, you travel dusty roads through crowded, makeshift slums, and the smoke of smoldering fires choking the air. But then you see the tin-roofed church and dozens of children running to the sound of singing from within. “My girl’s life has completely changed,” a mother says, “you can ask her yourself—she’s right there. Her name is Sarah.” When the Project Philipfor Children Bible study ends, Sarah skips toward her mother and answers a simple question this way, “The Bible taught me about Jesus, and I love Jesus because he loves me.” Sarah’s mother adds, “The reason Sarah can read is because of this Bible study. There is no school for her because we are poor. But this has changed her life. It has changed all our lives.” Continue reading “Bible League, September 2017”

THEREFORE, SINCE WE ARE SURROUNDED BY SUCH A GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES, LET US THROW OFF EVERYTHING THAT HINDERS AND THE SIN THAT SO EASILY ENTANGLES, AND LET US RUN WITH PERSEVERANCE THE RACE MARKED OUT FOR US. LET US FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND PERFECTER OF OUR FAITH, WHO FOR THE JOY SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS, SCORNING ITS SHAME, AND SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE OF GOD. CONSIDER HIM WHO ENDURED SUCH OPPOSITION FROM SINFUL MEN, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT GROW WEARY AND LOSE HEART.
