January 2018 letter from the Schwaderer’s

January 2018
We are thankful to the Lord for allowing us to minister here in Tenerife again for another year. We have seen some precious souls saved and have started having our Sunday church services again. Leanna is continuing her home schooling and Carolee continues to teach English a few hours a week. Today she spoke with a Columbian lady who is saved but doesn’t have a church. Pray that she would be interested in coming to church with us.

Nassim is very hungry for the word of God! We study two or three times a week, and evangelize in San Isidro. He has started reading the Bible to his mother and his brother to sow the seed in their hearts. His mother is Canarian but is divorced from Nassim’s father, who is Arabic and Muslim. Please pray for their salvation.
The prison ministry is going well. I continue to have monthly church services where we sing and preach. Right now, those who attend the church services are African and speak English. They really enjoy it and we have seen some saved there.  I am recruiting Spanish men for a Spanish church service in another module. As for my weekly Bible studies—Frank, the pilot who was recently saved—is growing in the Lord and is completing a written Bible course I have given him. He laundered drug money as a pilot for some of the biggest dealers there are, but now he has a sincere desire to serve the Lord. He wants to come to church when released and start a Christian drug rehab center on a different island where he owns some land.
In December I started my annual tour of many of the High Schools here—distributing John and Romans, tracts and New Testaments, witnessing while I pass them out. I really am blessed when doing this and I ask you to pray for their precious souls that they would all be saved.  “The Lord is……..  not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”  (2nd Peter 3:9)
Have a blessed NEW YEAR!!
