Doug Schwaderer Update

Dear Churches and Friends,
Here is our latest prayer update. We covet your prayers earnestly, and we know they sustain us and God has answered in mighty ways. Attached is the prayer letter in PDF, please let us know if you have any difficulties opening it or printing. Also we will include the letter in the text of the email, just in case some of you have slower connections and just want to read it quickly.Sincerely, Doug and Carolee Schwaderer and family, Canary Islands
“He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me” (Psalm 18:16-17).
The Lord has been blessing our church services and the growth of several believers is evident. Gabi and Simona have recently been moved to go out into their neighborhood, passing out gospels of John and witnessing to the people. They have also started to attend the Wednesday night prayer meetings. Their daughter, Alexandra, has been saved and doing quite well, especially considering all the peer pressure she has at school here.  Carlos seems to be doing great lately, witnessing to many people at work and is a witness to all because of his changed life! Valentin started a full time job, and because of working seven days a week has not been to church for six weeks. Please pray for him, his wife Jeni and their son Oscar who needs to be saved.
Juan and Gretel plan on moving, and this will leave us with three families. Sometimes we get attacked, as Satan’s forces stir the pot, but God is faithful to pull us out!  Recently we showed the gospel animation “Light of the World” by Jack Chick at Gabi´s house, and at the end their friend Felicia asked Christ to save her soul! HALELUJA!  Pray for Elena who also saw it but is not saved.  I ask prayer for Juan and his family, with whom I have been witnessing to several times. I have been going to the high schools again this year, so please pray for all the precious souls that will hear or read the gospel, that they might be saved.
We will be visiting the States for just over three months from the end of May to the first week of September. The primary reason is to attend the graduation of our daughter Rebekah from high school and get her situated at Bible college, and then to visit our children and thirteen grandchildren. I have five grandchildren that I have never met in person. Due to the short time, it will not be possible to visit all of our supporting churches; however, since I will be in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, I would be open to visit you if possible to give an update. If you are interested, please let me know by email so that we can try and accommodate that time.
Sincerely, Doug Schwaderer and family
